Top 1. Why can’t I assign a demo tour to a client even though he has a free license?

It looks like you have external locations (it’s when you click “Add another tour” in the Navigation menu editor) in your tour. Adding external locations is called “Multi Tour” in TourDash and this feature is only available for Platinum licenses. We are going to update the Tour Editor to make this statement more clear to resellers, because we had quiet a lot of questions about this.
If you already have a free (or assigned to your client) Gold license, we can upgrade it to Platinum. You need to purchase one more Gold license and assign to your client, then send a message to support@tourdash.com. We will convert two Gold licenses into a Platinum for you.

Top 2. What if I have a client who does not need a TourDash tour any more? Can I use the license assigned to that tour for another tour/client?

Yes, you can do this. First, you need to remove the TourDash tour. You can do this from your clients page in your TourDash panel. After that the license will become free and you can use it for a new tour for the same client. If you want to use this license for another client, please send us a message to support@tourdash.com and we will return the license back to your resellers account. Then you will be able to assign it to another client. 
P.S. Soon you will be able to get the license back to your account using TourDash interface. Stay tuned!

Top 1. Can a demo tour be converted to a real virtual tour?

The ”Assign to a client” option (under “Actions” on the “Demo Tours” page in your reseller account) lets you assign a Demo Tour to a client and a license, therefore converting it to a real virtual tour.

Top 2. How can I publish a demo tour?

Within the Demo Tours page of your reseller account you have the ability to create an unlimited amount of Demo Tours and embed them on your own website or on the demo page.
Please note: Demo Tours can only be published on the website that you have given us when setting up your reseller profile! Publishing on other websites or Facebook is not possible for a Demo Tour.

Top 3. How can I update my existing TourDash tour with new panoramas?

If you completely reshoot an existing Google Street View tour (or just add some extra panoramas to it) and publish it on Google, you will have to create a new TourDash tour for your updated panoramas from scratch.

Top 4. Where is the virtual tour equipped with TourDash available?

Since TourDash is not integrated into the Google Maps servers a virtual tour equipped with TourDash is only visible by using the iFrame code by which the TourDash tour can be exported to a client’s website, Facebook page or blog. As a result the additional elements of the tour created with TourDash are not visible when viewed directly from the Google places or Google Maps pages.

Top 5. How to publish TourDash tour on Facebook?

We have a built-in option to publish your virtual tour on Facebook. Once you’ve clicked on “Embed tour”, a new page appears. In the lower left corner there is a blue “Publish to Facebook” button.

Top 1. Can my client edit the TourDash tour by himself?

After you assign a tour to your client, a client receives a TD email with an activation link. By clicking that link he activates his account and creates the password. Then he can access the TD interface and edit his tour.

Top 2. Does my TourDash license expire and should I pay any recurring fees?

TourDash tour licenses are valid for one year and they are being prolonged automatically every year without any additional recurring fees and charges. You only have to pay once for your license during the purchase process.

Top 3. If I open the page with TD tour embedded on my mobile phone, I don’t see the tour. I only see the blue “Click to see the tour” button. Why?

This button is required for the mobile version of the tour and it was done for better user experience. Not all websites provide a good mobile versions and when you are looking at iframe with TourDash it can be very small, or large or require scrolling, etc. To eliminate this we show a button which will open the tour in another page/tab with fullscreen view.

Top 4. What is multi-tour feature in Platinum license?

TourDash Multi-Tour allows you to create a large tour using several smaller tours. Adding multiple tours to a single TourDash tour can be done through the advanced navigation feature. TourDash Platinum licenses have the ability to add an unrestricted amount of virtual tours into a single tour.

Top 5. Can I edit the CSS stylesheets for my tour?

The CSS-editing capabilities is a feature for advanced users and it can be enabled for your account by request. You should send an email to support@tourdash.com with a request for enabling the CSS panel and don’t forget to mention your TourDash login. We will do the rest.
